Introduction: One might ask, why is the story so captivating?

It took me a long time to find you. I crossed oceans of time, just so that I can finally be with you. I feel like I have been looking for you my whole life, and have finally found my sunlight. But before I could come back to see you, I had to cross a cold winter of time that was just waiting for me. It took me a long time to find you, but now that I’m here, everything will be alright.
A long time ago, I met you.
When I told you about my past, you listened and asked questions at the same time, which was the only reason why I couldn’t leave anymore. You were so warm, and always gave me answers to questions that I didn’t know how to ask. That’s why I could never be with anyone else either. Because there was nothing like you in this world. Your eyes are like stars in the night and your smile is like a rainbow colored sky on a bright summer day. And your scent… it’s like a flower that blooms in the spring. Your smell alone is enough to make me go crazy.
Our journey was filled with so many things we’d never experienced before, but the really amazing part was how close we both became. I can tell you anything and you will listen to it. It might sound cliche, but it really is the truth. No matter what I say or do, there is always an answer for me in your eyes. I can be myself around you, and that was a feeling I had never experienced before. You were all I could think about during the day, and all I dreamt about at night; my mind was filled with thoughts of you.

What We Know About the Lost Princess of Spain and Her Royal Family

The story of the young princess and her family is known throughout Europe. I worked hard to unravel the mystery of this tale, and have discovered it’s truly amazing. The princess’ real name is Juana. She was the daughter of Queen Isabella and Ferdinand of Spain. The whole family was royalty, as Ferdinand was the prince of Aragon, and Isabella’s family had a lot of money and power. In 1500 Juana was sent to Italy to marry her cousin, Philip the Handsome. He was the son of Maximilian I, and would inherit a big and powerful country. He was considered very handsome by most people of that time period, although he was said to be very tall, and often wore flat-toed shoes. We do not know what Juana looked like because there were no pictures back then.

How Did They Find Each Other?

Juana was living in the Castile castle when she was just 8-years-old. She was a very delicate and shy little girl, and mostly kept to herself, but she did love to read books. Her mother died when Juana was still young, and her father worked very hard in the fields so he could send money back to Spain for her care. The princess had an older sister named Isabel. Isabel was the opposite of Juana and was more outgoing, but they did love each other very much and were often found together.
One day as Juana was reading, she felt a strange tingling on her face. She started to look around, and then saw a small butterfly perched on her finger. As soon as she reached out to touch it, she felt the butterfly come alive in her hands. She gasped, then held the butterfly up for Isabel to see.
Isabel walked over to take a look at the curious creature. “Maybe you should get rid of it before it makes more of them,” she said with a smile. Juana was too busy carefully examining the butterfly in her hands to notice that Isabel had started to head for the door. “Where are you going?” Juana asked, looking up from her discovery.
“I have to go see King Fernando,” said Isabel.
“Why?” asked Juana.

It was their sad goodbye that started this whole story. Isabella hugged her sister and promised to visit as soon as she had the chance.
Isabella was very sad to leave her sister. She didn’t want to get on the ship and go away. But she left, and arrived at her new home in Savoy, near the French border.
But then, one day, 6 years later, Prince Philibert’s mother decided he should marry someone else. This wasn’t a problem for Isabella because her parents had also decided that another man would be better for her.
The problem was that they didn’t see each other before they got married, so they could have been stuck with a horrible person to spend their whole life with.

Abandoned in an Orphanage as a Child with No Memory of Her Life Before That Day 16 Years Ago

Juana had grown up in the orphanage without knowing her parents or her real name. This was because she was very frail, and they thought that it would be too difficult to keep up her identity if they tried to keep track of all the names changing in the orphanage. Juana’s father remarried some time after his death, and so Juana changed from Isabel to Juana. One day, she went back to the orphanage when a letter arrived bearing an address in Seville. She was soon on a boat to Spain, and as soon as she arrived at the address given, she discovered her name: Isabel de Diego.
To her astonishment, Isabel’s stepmother confirmed that only one thing tied Juana to her real identity: a locket with a picture of a man inside, who Juana claimed was her father. When Isabel finally became too sick for work and would have to quit, the letter arrived from Spain wanting Isabel to become closer to where she grew up and live with a family member. With nary a choice, Isabel accepted.
