I want to preface this blog by saying that this is not a complicated tutorial. This is the bare-bones, no-nonsense, bottom-line package for you to know the best way of doing what I am about to teach you. Now that I have that out of the way…
How an AI Software Helps You Write Faster & Better by Considering Your Daily Tasks
I have tried a lot of things, and I know that you have too. Things like a hard drive, an external hard drive, writing samples, my car keys and a piece of string… But do ANY of these help you write faster? No. They’re a waste of time because they don’t consider your current writing style or method. They simply give you rules and help you obey them.
What you will find here is something else entirely: a system for writing that helps you perform your best.
The thing that makes it all work is a piece of software I wrote to help me focus on my daily tasks. The theory is simple: we can’t write well if we’re not considering what we’re writing about, but we can’t focus on our daily tasks until we write well. So I decided to figure out how to focus on my daily tasks while I write.
The software I developed is called the Daily Tasks Workbench, and it’s as simple as it is ingenious. The basic idea is this: you write every day, at a certain time. Here are some examples:
Every morning at 6am (or however early you can get up). Every evening at 9pm (or however late you’ve been up). 365 days a year (or whatever works for you). The goal is to make sure you write at least once a day.
