Introduction: Bush family, the inside story of an American dynasty
The Bush Family: Inside Story Of An American Dynasty is the first substantial account of the most influential political family in America. From George Washington to George W. Bush, a presidency has followed a father-son sequence for every generation since 1828. To date, only two electorates have given this family three presidential elections: St. Louis in 1904, 1920, and 1944. It is this family’s connections to historic high places that set it apart from all others, the Bush’s above all others. In a sense, the Bushes are a family of their own apart from the rest of American society and its history. Growing out of a single small political clique in Houston, Texas, the Bushes have risen to heights no other American family has attained. There are many family stories and legends connected to George Bush’s father, Prescott Bush. None is better known than George’s entry into the big leagues in Texas politics. “My father was a very colorful figure,” Bush told this writer. “He was a mixture of Yankee and Southerner, one part Irish, one part German and so forth.” The hotbed of politics was St. Louis, Missouri. There the Bushes mingled with powerful men who would shape the destiny of America: Rockefeller, Brown Brothers Harriman and the Union Banking Corporation; the Dulles brothers, John and Allen, Richard Nixon’s lawyer and his fixer; Thomas Boggs, Nixon’s brother-in-law; James Rowe at Standard Oil of New Jersey; Henry Ferguson at Anheuser-Busch.
Why the Bush family has been involved in criminal activities
For instance, the Bush family fortunes are inflated by the policies of George W. Bush and his father in particular. For example, the former President Bush overcharged taxpayers on the cost of a technologically advanced baseball stadium. The former president later admitted the government overcharged taxpayers a total of $2.7 billion dollars on this stadium project (USA Today, January 24th 2001). The Bush family also benefited itself financially in the September 11th attacks. As reported by Tom Flocco, President George W. Bush’s brother Marvin Bush was on the board of directors at a company called Securacom (later renamed Stratesec). This company received a $9.2 million contract from the United States government to provide security for the World Trade Center “in the event of an emergency” (Newsbytes, December 27th, 2001)
What is the George Bush Presidential Library and how does it tie into this story?
The George Bush Presidential Library, has been built at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. It is a monument to the Bush family and an indication of their reach into the highest circles of power which is the key to their ongoing influence. The construction cost alone is a staggering $45 million dollars. There is also the $2.7 billion dollar stadium overcharge which will be financed through a tax hike on American citizens. To date, no Democratic member of Congress has bothered to oppose this bill (see: USA Today, January 24th 2001).
The following quotes from British author Toby Harnden, should give us pause and help us to understand the mindset and agenda of the Bush family:
“Dallas residents were largely oblivious to the clear indications that the ranches of Bush’s forebears had been seized by Britain’s East India Company. The agrarian aristocracy was so embedded in Texas society that it was almost invisible. But an enquiry conducted in 1997 by a Texas State University historian uncovered a long-forgotten story: that Bush’s great grandfather, Capt. John Bush, had been involved in the supposed seizing of land from the Indians which was then used by private investors.”
“The evidence was held in the National Archives at Kew and revealed that Bush ‘took part in the taking of lands from the Indians.’ Capt. Bush’s claim was ‘not just a matter of some distinction, but of considerable notoriety’, the historian concluded.”
“The Bush family had been involved in the setting up and running of a private investment bank, which had handled the land transactions and acted as front for a group of investors that included Bush’s father, Prescott Bush. The land use claimed by the family was described as ‘seizure’.”
Drug trafficking in Latin America ties to George H.W. Bush and his CIA-backed operations in Bolivia
Former President Bush, the father of the current US president and two previous presidents, is involved in drug trafficking. In 1980 he became the first American official to meet with the leaders of Bolivia since that nation was taken over by a military junta. He wanted to send $100 million dollars to the Bolivian government in support of a CIA-backed military coup. The Bush family has strong connections to the CIA that go back to the 1950’s (see: Jeff Gates, “The Shadow Warriors”. p.xvii and p.2). (2)
President Bush flew to Bolivia on June 27, 1980. The following day he met with the leaders of the junta (General Hugo Banzer and Col. Victor Paz Estenssoro) to discuss mining of Bolivian natural gas and about providing $100 million dollars for the CIA-backed military coup (this is the account given in Richard Dudman’s book “Dirty War”). The coup had been carried out in collusion with the mining companies. The Nazi war criminal Klaus Barbie, known as the Butcher of Lyon and a friend of Col. Paz Estenssoro, was a key liaison between the CIA and the Bolivian military to organize this coup.
Hijackings by the hijackers of Pan Am Flight 103 and UTA Flight 772 are tied to George H.W. Bush’s CIA operations in Africa
A UTA flight was blown up over the Sahara in Sept. 1989; 270 people were killed. On Christmas Day, 1988 a Pan Am flight was blown up over Lockerbie, Scotland; 270 people were killed. The Lockerbie bombing had all the earmarks of an attack by Libyan terrorists. The UTA bombings had a similar pattern and were probably also caused by Libyan terrorists. The two bombings were the work of the Libyan government according to FBI officials. CIA officials say that they know the reason why Libyan terrorists carried out these two attacks (see: “Lockerbie and Pan Am,” by William Blum).
The bombing of Pan Am 103 was planned by the CIA and executed by Libyan intelligence agents. The bombing of UTA 772 was also planned by the CIA and executed by Libyan intelligence agents. The nepotism practiced at the top levels of U.S. intelligence enabled George Bush Sr., former director of the CIA, to continue his relations with his former partners in crime from his days in the CIA in destabilizing African countries for Washington’s benefit (see: “George Bush, Master of Crime,” by Wayne Madsen).
On 28 Aug. 1990, a limousine was parked at Logan International Airport in Boston as part of a private visit by George H.W. Bush Jr., director of the CIA, and his wife, Barbara Bush. The limousine was to pick up some people for their visit with George H.W. Bush Sr., former director of the CIA (see: “Lobby at Logan Airport Shuts Down Bush’s CIA Visit,” by Patrick J. Buchanan).
