Introduction: What is a Christian and Why Is This Search Important?

It is important to know what it means to be a Christian. Christians follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and his life on earth, which are found in scripture. Christians believe that they are living out the teachings of Jesus Christ in their lives by obeying God. They believe that they are following the example that Jesus gave and that the cross of Christ is their example because they uphold his atonement. A Christian also believes in going to Heaven.
The story of Jesus Christ is the biggest story ever told, and it is not just one story or one religion. The story of Jesus Christ has been written in the bible. This book contains many different stories that describe what happened in the beginning and also how Jesus lived.
Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem. He grew up with his mother Mary, who was a virgin, who had a special relationship with God. When Jesus was a young boy, he was called to be the Son of God.
Jesus was known for being honest and noble. He preached about love and gave hope to those who were suffering. Jesus taught people about God’s way of life. He also taught them how to live a life that shows God’s love by loving others as if they were their very own family.
Jesus ended his life by dying on the cross for our sins on the day of Passover in 33 a.d.. This took place after two weeks of suffering from the Romans, who were angry at Israel for resisting their rule. Joseph, Mary and Jesus were killed. The story goes on to tell of God’s plan to forgive people of all sins by raising Jesus from the dead, who then ascended back into Heaven. This is called the resurrection.

“The Reason My Father Is an Atheist” – Why I Am An Atheist And what it Means to be an Atheist

I have never been an atheist. I became an agnostic when I was around 18 years old and I have been an agnostic ever since then. I have questioned and have never come to any solid conclusion what so ever, only to continue questioning. The reason my father is an atheist is because he thinks of religion as a social institution which has no basis and that it is entirely man-made. My father, being a scientist, cannot see any scientific evidence for the existence of a deity or a divine power. I myself cannot see any argument that proves the existence of god. All in all, being an atheist is a life time commitment and it is not something one does for a week or two.
I have a very close relationship with my father and have even planted the seeds of atheism in his mind but he is still unable to see it. I spent countless hours reading, researching, praying and debating with him over how I could possibly convince him that God did not exist. The best I as a son could do was to give him my own views on god and maybe that would sway his view on the subject. I tried to prove that God did not exist by using logic and reason. I could not find any workable argument to convince him of my point of view. Even after I had given my all in trying to convince him, he still refuses to accept that I am able to reach these conclusions on my own.

About the Author and his Family Background Story

I am raising my daughter (age 3 years) and going to school and working full-time. Every day I search different religions to give her exposure to a wider variety of faiths. When she was born, I knew that I were going to raise her in a secular household but did not know if it affected the type of faith that we were going to teach her. Some might believe that raising my daughter in a non-religious household may affect her faith when she grows up. I underline why this is not true. We are not a non-religious family, just the opposite. My parents and I hold deep religious beliefs and our home is a place where people of all faiths come to rest, relax and feel welcome. In this way, my daughter is exposed to many faiths and many people.
I first became interested in religion in high school where I explored some of the Eastern religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism. I have always been fascinated with the idea of a Supreme Being, someone who was powerful enough to create everything that I see. However, I never quite found a religion that was right for me. It did not seem to match what I had imagined it to be like.

Why I am an atheist and the reason why I don’t believe in God or gods today

I believe that god is a myth. There is no proof of god’s existence, no evidence or scripture to prove god’s existence. I will not say there is no possibility that god exists, but I do not believe that any person or religion holds an absolute truth and identity – they only depict some truths and they can also be deceiving. I do not see how anyone can be forced to believe in something if they don’t personally know anything about it. Therefore, the Christian God is an illusion created by religions. No one should be forced to believe in something that they do not personally know about and cannot truly prove. If a person truly believes their god is real, then they have to believe that god exists regardless of whether or not they can prove it. I respect those who think their religion is the truth and will always defend that in my opinion, but I cannot respect someone’s religion if it does not make sense and does not fit the evidence. The Christian God is a fictitious creation of man who has been made up by certain religions.

How did my friend become a Christian? The story of my friend who became a Christian from an atheist movement and how I became an atheist

My friend found Christianity one day while searching for a different religion. He used to be a staunch atheist who believed that there is no god and that people get scared of religious people because they can use religion as an excuse to justify their misbehavior. He came across a YouTube video of a talk show called “The Atheist Experience”. He also stumbled onto this website: atheist.org by chance, which has news articles, videos and podcasts by atheists on how they became non-believers in God. Some of these videos were also from “The Atheist Experience”, which my friend found very interesting. He began to read William Lane Craig’s writings on how to prove the existence of god, and he started to listen to debates between atheists and Christians. My friend then began the process of becoming a Christian.
