why is nikki sixx breaking the internet?

I’m not a famous person, but I’ve been obsessed with photographing my life through the lens of a camera. Not just any camera, an Instax. Why? Because it’s fun, and so is pretending to be Katy Perry or Taylor Swift when you’re all by yourself. I also love making collages that are nothing like Hollywood portrayals of reality; I don’t care about what’s ‘cool’ or what’s ‘trending’. When I take pictures, it’s because I’m either capturing a moment that will never happen again in exactly that way—or I’m taking a picture to document what’s happening around me.
So I don’t take pictures because I’m trying to be famous. I take pictures because it feels good when the images are completely honest and unexpected. I’m not being weird. This has nothing to do with being ‘artsy’ or ‘edgy’, or for some sick reason trying to tell the world that my life is more interesting than what they’ve seen so far on television, the internet, etc. It’s the exact opposite of that.

Nikki Sixx’s “No Good” Album Review & Tracklisting

I Am Satan – This song is punker than the title would lead you to believe. It’s straight ahead rock and roll. It’s kind of like a B-52s song that you would never expect to hear from Nikki Sixx.
I’m the Man – This is one of the most fun songs on the album. It’s a good time and I really enjoyed it for that reason. It’s a lot of fun too, but in an enjoyable way, not annoying or anything like that.
No Good – This is my personal favorite from the album. It’s punker than I would have guessed, but it’s also a catchy song. It reminds me a little of a Kiss song more than anything else. It’s not evil sounding or anything like that though – I didn’t expect that.
Speak – An interesting new direction for Nikki Sixx. This is basically the “Unholy” album done in the style of an old school Motley Crue song. I dig the new direction, though I don’t think it’s as good as “Unholy”. It’s got a cool riff and some crazy lyrics, but it doesn’t have the same punch.

the final verdict on nikki sixx’s new album “no good”

So what do you guys think? Will the album be worth all that waiting? Or will it be a masterpiece of mediocrity amongst mediocrity? Let me know what you think in the comments section below. Then let us know what you thought of “No Good” in the comments below. I’ll be back to post the next article tomorrow. Take care, and I hope you all have a great day!
FINAL VERDICT
BOTTOM LINE: “No Good” is Nikki Sixx’s follow up to his first solo album, “City Dogs”. This album is good, but it is no masterpiece. It is mediocre in almost every way, with a few rousing exceptions. The album kicks off with quite possibly the greatest verse in rock and roll history, “No Good” by Mötley Crüe. Sixx has a good voice, but his partners in crime behind the mic don’t really help him along. Then on to “I Want Out”, which is probably the best song on the album next to “No Good”. But then the rest of the album takes a turn for the worse with subpar tracks like “Back from Hell”, “Full Moon Fever”, and “Timebomb”. The rest of the album soars, then plummets. The album is just overall mediocre, with a few highlights and lowlights.

drummers of nightmares that are the ice caps melting!

THE END IS NEAR! I’ve been documenting the melting of the ice caps for a while now. It’s hard to believe, but it’s actually happening! The thick sheets of ice that have been covering the planet over the past few million years are melting, and when they’re all gone, it’ll be curtains for life as we know it. The End is Near!
See this great footage: The Ice Sheets are Melting!
And this awesome video, featuring Neil Young, from the now-defunct Earth First! Journal. He sings: “the end is near.” (This is really cool.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiW6h8zADfI
I’ve been a fan of Neil Young for years and years, ever since “Southern Man” first came out in 1970. I grew up in the era of “Southern Man,” “Southern Lovin'” and “Cowgirl in the Sand.” I celebrated his birthday and was listening to his music when I was 15. Years later, I got a chance to meet him at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards. I asked him if there was anything he would like me to tell him so that he could say hello to my little sister, who was riding on my shoulder at the time. And Neil said, ‘Thank you very much… Thank you very much for your kind words, and I appreciate it, and I love you.’
