I’m Not Alone in the Universe and It’s a Terrible Situation

Believe it or not, you’re never alone. The truth is that we are surrounded by life forms on this earth and in the universe. Approximately 10 percent of the Earth is alive; plants, animals, and microorganisms. There are now more than 100 billion stars in our galaxy alone! This number is only going to get bigger as the universe continues to expand. So then I’m not alone in the universe. But that doesn’t mean it’s a good thing.
As I sit here in my home, all alone, typing this on my computer, I wonder how many other life forms exist out there. How many people are there that are alone? Perhaps the most frightening thought is what will happen when we meet.

This Week in Loneliness!

Based on a Harris poll, 48 percent of Americans believe in ghosts and 41 percent think aliens have visited earth. Coincidentally, this is about the same amount of people who want to be left alone.
