Introduction: Why Do We Procrastinate on the Dark Days?

Lately I have been doing a lot of reflecting. Not just on my life, but on the world around me and my place in it. I am not talking about days filled with fun things like movie night, wings night, or even the typical family BBQ; these are all wonderful occasions that happen pretty regularly and are definitely enjoyable. I’m talking about the days where my thoughts seem to start from a place of worry and can’t seem to break free. The days where, no matter how I try to think positively, things still seem bleak when the sun goes down. The problem with this kind of day is that I have a tendency to feel as if things are never going to be better. Eventually it seems as if life will stop for good, and that my problems will never end. These are the days where I find myself looking for distraction, not to have fun, but just to keep my mind off my problems and from thinking about any of the negativity.

10 Habits of Highly Effective People and What They Have in Common

These processes are learnable skills, not inborn talents . Any intelligent person can learn them. But not everyone has the necessary drive to acquire these skills. I have learned that if we fail to plan, then we plan to fail. These processes will lead us to success, given enough time and sufficient persistence .
The basic difference between an ordinary life and an extraordinary life is not that the extraordinary person has trained certain habits into his character, but that the ordinary person has trained certain habits out.

Easy Ways to Improve Your Productivity on a Dark Day Without Taking Drugs

If you work for someone else, does your job make you feel trapped? No matter which option you choose, organization is crucial for success. This is the second most important thing that many procrastinators lack, and it is a problem that can be fixed by reading a few books about time management. You will have to start with a to-do list and a plan for how you are going to organize your life. Once you have organized your day, you can get things done in a much more manageable way, so that you don’t have to spend every night lying awake in bed, worrying about the day ahead.
1. Create a To-Do List
Start with a to-do list that is simple and easy for you to understand, yet detailed enough to cover all of the important tasks you have for the day. Write out any tasks that you have for the day in your planner so that you can cross them off when they are completed. This does not have to be anything elaborate; just a list of things that you need to get done one way or another.
2. Make Sure That Everything Gets Done
Make sure that you actually take care of every task on your to-do list. This means you are going to have to make it a routine that you review your list at the beginning of each day, so that you know exactly what is happening so that there will be no surprises. If you don’t, then you can waste a lot of your time feeling stressed out, wondering where things are and wondering if they will be done.
3. Write Down Your Goals
Once you have everything on your to-do list, you need to make sure that you can see where your time is going. Writing down your goals for the day is a good way to help you determine what really needs to get done. This means that if there are things that you think will be easy, but they turn out to be difficult and time consuming, then you will understand why they are important and what they can do for you.

Find Your Top 3 Priorities and Focus Solely on Them Using Daily Positive Routine to Boost Productivity and Keep Everything Under Control on the Dark Days

I work in the IT industry, technology has always been my passion. And while the IT industry is a very specialized niche, I believe that everyone can use things like meditation and breathing techniques to improve their productivity. Try some of these techniques and see if they help you get your mind right by allowing you to clear your thoughts before you go to sleep at night. If you need a little help getting started, you can find offers for meditation CDs or download guided meditations online. You can also find a lot of information on the internet, regarding how to improve your focus and concentration. When it comes down to it, try everything you can come up with. You’ll be surprised by how much better you feel after these short meditation sessions.
A lot times, we just need a little extra help to concentrate and focus on something completely different from our usual busy thoughts. By improving our focus and concentration, we can help to improve our productivity. Instead of having 200 thoughts going through your mind, you can focus on three crucial things so that you don’t run around in circles. I was once told by a manager that “when you herp derp in the morning, it’s hard to get your day going.” Using the meditations will allow you to reduce those 200 thoughts and concentrate on what really matters. See if you can start using the techniques on a daily basis for a few weeks until you get used to it. You’ll be surprised as to how much better your focus and concentration will have gotten in that short amount of time.

Conclusion: How To Stay Productive On The Most Difficult Days

I have spent years developing a positive mindset and an ability to prepare myself for any day. I do this by following a few steps I have outlined above, not just on the dark days, but every day. I have a morning routine that helps me to clear my mind of stress or negativity and begin the day on a positive note. I also have a similar routine that I follow each evening. I practice effective time management every single day. I understand that time is the most precious commodity we have, and it’s our responsibility to make it count. Whether I am writing this article or doing medical school research, I never allow myself to get distracted. If a distraction arrives, I don’t debate with myself whether it is important or not; instead, I switch completely to the new task for five minutes and then return to my original one.
