The Korean language can be very difficult to learn, but with the right software learning this language is easy. In this post, I would like to introduce you to an amazing tool that will help you become a better korean speaker as fast as possible. It’s called Korean Made Simple and it’s a free K-English learning software .  It was built by two people who were born and raised in Korea, who grew up speaking perfect English. This tool helps to learn the basics of korean pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and basic sentence structure for novices like myself. It focuses mostly on pronunciation but it also covers vocabulary from the grammar books given by the ancient scholars. The app comes with over 500 audio tracks of native speakers who provide different perspectives on everything from conversation style and structure to vocabulary creation and language comprehension.

The first thing you will notice with the software is that it has a unique visual style. Using an organic, non-linear presentation of the topics, this tool allows a beginner to learn at their own pace. You can go back and review a topic anytime you want. In the picture below you can see the word “hello” in Korean being pointed out. The big letter is pronounced “rrr” and the letters on the right are silent in Korean. I ended up learning this early because of its simplicity and now I use it whenever I greet someone in Korea.
The app provides audio playlists for every grammar point, vocabulary list and lesson that we provide. The playlists are included in the app and can be accessed at any point — they’re not just for the sake of the lessons, but you can use them to enhance your Korean listening skills.

The software’s interface is very user-friendly and intuitive. It contains detailed information on every aspect of the language – usage, grammar, vocabulary and a lot more. One can use this book solely or along with their textbooks. In both cases, it becomes a solid and reliable foundation to begin learning the language.
The book begins with a general intro to the Korean language and then moves on to the grammar – how it works, how you learn it, and how to use it effectively. We also talk about the culture of Korea which covers the history of Korea’s relationship with Japan, China and Russia as well as more recent developments in the history of Korea’s cultural policies.
One can focus on any particular area within this book. It is highly recommended that you start with the introduction section, which covers all the basics. This is the best reference to get you started and it will keep you on the right track once you start using it.
Some of the words in this book are typically found in beginner Korean textbooks. However, this is an entirely different and more comprehensive book, which provides a lot more context and background to every word as well as new vocabulary that is tailored specifically for beginners.
